What is a cold plunge?

A cold plunge is a therapeutic method involving brief immersion of the body in cold water (2–15°C). Used by athletes, biohackers and health-conscious individuals to accelerate recovery, improve mood and strengthen immunity.

What temperature should beginners set?

For those new to cold plunge, we recommend starting at 12–15°C and gradually lowering the temperature every few weeks. Most users eventually work in the 5–10°C range. Consistency matters more than extremity.

How long should a session last?

The optimal duration of a single session is 2–5 minutes, depending on water temperature and your experience. Research shows that 11 minutes per week (split across several sessions) is sufficient to achieve full health benefits.

For healthy adults, cold plunge is a safe practice. We do not recommend it for people with cardiovascular disease, Raynaud's disease, pregnant women, or children without medical consultation. Always enter cold water slowly and never alone when you're just starting out.

How quickly does it cool the water?

Cooling time depends on ambient temperature, the initial water temperature, and the chosen cooling system model. CASPERA is designed to maintain stable temperature and comfort for daily use.

Do you offer a warranty?

CASPERA comes with a manufacturer's warranty: 5 years on the frame and tub, and 2 years on the cooling system. Service and technical support are provided in Poland.

What are the dimensions of the tub?

The CASPERA ARC/NØR tub is designed in a compact form for comfortable use indoors and in outdoor areas. Dimensions: 170 × 70 × 57.5 cm, capacity approx. 160 L. Weight of the tub alone: approx. 43 kg, complete set with chiller without water: approx. 80–90 kg, when filled: approx. 240–250 kg.
